Manville is a borough in Somerset County, NJ. Prior to becoming a separate Municipality in 1929, Manville was a portion of Hillsborough Township. Manville is comprised of 2.4 square miles and the location is ideal, the area is located midway between two of the Country's greatest metropolitan areas - New York City and Philadelphia.
The Manville School District serves public school students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Historically, many of Manville's residents are of Slavic (mostly eastern Polish) and western Ukrainian descent, with many businesses and restaurants geared towards the Polish-American community.
Manville has begun to leave behind its industrial past, former manufacturing land has been redeveloped into a large movie theater complex and extensive shopping area.
